Exciting news! I’ve finally pushed passed my techno fear. Today you can find my rendition of My love is like a red, red rose on your streaming service.
Recorded soon after lockdown, I’ve been waiting to release this as the first of a collection of folk songs. You may notice the timing – a week before Burns Night and ready to be added to your Scottish playlist! The “Nature version” will be available on the 25th January itself with some ambient birdsong and seascape in the background.
This first release is a vulnerable one, vocals only. I can still picture singing into the microphone by the studio garden window with the sun on my face whilst recording – feeling so glad to be doing what I love again.
