I’m thrilled to share that Finchcocks will be featured on tonight’s Great British Railway Journeys on BBC 2 at 6:30pm.
As Programme Director for Finchcocks, I was over the moon to be asked to take part in filming for Michael Portillo’s Great British Railwway Journeys.

Finchcocks is a magical place, and one I am extremely proud to be part of. Running luxury residential courses for adult pianists – amateur and professional, beginner to advanced – it’s a unique piano retreat based in the UK, offering world-class tuition and a grand piano for each guest to practice on throughout their stay.

Having worked there as Programme Director and course host for over six years, I still enjoy the courses every bit as much as when I started – with some regular guests having become friends along the way!
I’ve also had the priviledge of singing with some jawdroppingly amazing pianists during Saturday evening recitals for guests, including Graham Fitch, Daniel Grimwood, Warren Mailley-Smith and Florian Mitrea. Perhaps the most exciting recent collaboration is with Finchcocks Musical Director David Hall and the release of our Skylark EP.

If you miss the live show, you can find Finchcocks on episode 1 of series 16 (Paddock Wood to Frant) on BBC iPlayer.

David and I will be performing there this summer as part of the Finchcocks Festival with our Finchcocks trio for Jazz on the Lawn. Maybe see you there to share some of the magic!
