Duo Gems: Classics for two violins
I am super excited to announce the publication of a collection of 20 violin duets I have arranged for upper intermediate – advanced violinists.

With thanks to Mel Bay Publishers, this long-awaited project – begun over nine years ago -has finally been released.
The collection is the result of many happy hours spent playing with my sister, violin students, friends, and colleagues alike – and from the desire to open up well-known orchestral, chamber, operatic, and vocal repertoire to violin duos.
It can be bought as an e-book for use on iPads or tablets or as a hardcopy.

At the peak of my wedding and event performing, I started to crave new material for two violins – in addition to the lovely publications I already used. I began arranging some of the more obvious pieces such as the ever-popular Pachelbel’s Canon, but soon wanted to explore and arrange music for voice and orchestra. Song lends itself very well to the melodic nature of the violin, and I reacquainted myself with some beautiful classical, sacred, choral and operatic works in the process.
