I thought I’d share with you some memories and photos of my time at Westminster Abbey this summer.
I was fortunate to spend a whole weekend there in July with the Oriana Singers. We provided the music for all four sung services and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Caroline our music director chose some beautiful music for us to sing, but highlights for me were Tallis’ O sacrum convivium and Byrd’s Mass for Four Voices.
The end of August brought me back to the Abbey, this time with the King Charles Singers. We sang the Clucas responses, Sumsion in A and Wood’s Expectans Expectavi,
a real auricular treat!
And when we’d finished for the day, we were met with these views. London, I love you…
