Accompany Jennifer Maslin as she sings her own exploration into the world of jazz.
In this lunchtime concert A Journey to Jazz travel from Gershwin’s Porgy and Bess and Broadway’s “Golden Era”, through to well-loved standards of the Great American songbook.
Jennifer is joined by John Harriman – a jazz pianist, composer, and bandleader known for his highly accomplished jazz, Latin, pop, and rock playing. He has performed widely in the UK and abroad, leading and collaborating in a range of duos, trios, and larger ensembles. He is the founder of the award-winning Cuban jazz-salsa group Heads South, praised for its dynamic live performances and infectious rhythms. Described as “impeccable” by The Times and “dazzling” by The Jazzmann, John’s playing continues to draw critical acclaim for its flair and originality.
